High Pressure Oil Pump Gasket | Materials for HPOP

The Injection system is crucial for an engine, for diesel engines, the injectors delivery fuel into combustion chamber. There are different fuel injection systems for diesel engines, such as common rail, EUI system, HEUI system…etc.

HEUI (hydraulically electronic unit injection) system uses engine oil to make fuel injectors work. HPOP Pump is for HEUI system, it stands for high pressure oil pump, it is also called HEUI pump or hydraulic pump. An HPOP pump enable fuel injectors to fire by pressurize engine oil.

The common materials for HPOP pumps are elastomers, metal bonded with rubber and rubber coated metal. Injection system is important to the engines, in a similar way, gaskets are crucial for injection system.
